The I Don't Know Show

Image: What do I know and How do I know it? (Eliot Crooks) video still

What is beauty?
How do we live together?
What is out there?

A series of three videos where children 7-10 years old answer the great questions of philosophy.
On show at the Dean Gallery, Edinburgh, at part of The Enlightenments until September 27 2009.

Hark!

Performance piece in The Enlightenments at the Edinburgh International Festival in collaboration with writer performers, Stuart Bowden, Kathryn Sutherland, Margaret Paula and Ben Hjorth.

This one has its very own blog: harkexclamationmark.blogspot.com

If you'd like a little taste of this hard-hitting gritty political artwork, which sees the daily news turned into an on-going reality-musical, have a look at this video:

GoMA Kids' Summer Festival Workshop: Songs to People Saying Things You Couldn't Otherwise Say

Performers: Cat Commander, Kathryn Sutherland, Ben Hjorth and Margaret Paul

This performance was one of 12 shows performed over a week at the Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane for their Kids' Summer Festival. I worked with this group of incredible performers to run 45-minute workshops where we gathered messages from kids aged 4-11, which we then transformed into songs and performed half an hour later.
